"I'm a cynical idealist"  F. Scott Fitzgerald

Anyone who has a remeote comprehension of my identity in self and/or my personality would have an infinitely difficullt time denying or disproving that phrase and I aren't simpatico.

"I'll fight like Hell to hide that I've given up" Connor Oberst

We're all guilty of this accusation at some point in our lives to a variety of degrees. It's my fever; it's the only distinguishable memory that I lose considerable sleep over.  All those psuedo-passionate glances; were those tears even real?...What is the nature of reality in this impractical sense? If she felt it and I believed it then certainly it is without question real. However, even if she didn't sincerely feel it, it still existed to me in that moment and, even in this current moment if I question her motives and honesty no one can ever deprive me of the pure, unadulterated contentness I felt at that place and time.

The lead guitarist voting, sometime back, (sorry it's been awhile) resulted in the victory of quinn allman here are the choices for youre favorite bass player

A. Gregory Kriesel
B. Doug Hopkins
C. Garrett Tierney
D. Peter Lewis Kingston Wentz III

Just a little free from writing (I was bored in history)

A spurt of honesty...a halycon daze...a single intangable entity that revives transient emotions...A blaze of blase with an unremarkable outburst of chivalry...A nuerotic fool; the unspeakable personage that utters I love you...A manic depressive with a misconception of love...these days we felt alive lead to these nights we feel so numb...passion need not be intimate

Sweetheart, my most sincere wishes that you feel better if there is anything I can do let me know; I miss you <3

I was involved in a viscous wreck yesterday...long story short i'm physically well and so is the man that collided w/ me but our cars are probably both totaled

2 days ago i got an intriguing email that proclaims napster is once again free. I have yet to investigate this littel indeavor so Im not absolute that free truly means free. However, one can't help but ponder a few years in retrospect...forgive me if I'm wrong but I believe that a court case was held over this particular matter...Oh yeah, and Napster lost.  I, nevertheless must make the admission that I would feel quite juvilent if free does indeed mean free once again.

I attended prom last weekend although I conveniently evaded the work involved. Quite interesting to an individual like me was this event. The only lyrics I was anywhere relativly farmiliar w/ was the word "yeah" in one of "Lil' Jon's" songs. lol

I feel entitled and obligated to defend the game's best current player.......Kobe Bryant can't win. If he shoots 60% and scores 50 points, his team loses ,because he's the singular performer on the team who can play transition defense, and he is criticized for shooting too much.  That occured in Game 6. Let me take you back to Game 1 where he had numerous assists, played completely unselfishly, and was criticized for not shooting enough. He tried to do both in Game 7, but Kwame Brown can't make a lay-up andSmush Parker is the offensive equivalent of the average 7th grader. Perhaps, I've previously mentioned the predicament with transition defense. Why is it that the only player who shouldn't be criticized on the Lakers, the best player in basketball, and the sole entity responsible for they're being involved in a game 7 at all is the singular man whom is?!!

Mew has beautiful eyes ;)

I <3 my Kwissy-Poo :D

What ungodly measures I must have taken against her I shall most likely never discover...She meant so much; too much. Regardless, I treated her perfectly...how do you make the transition from loving someone and discussing what colleges you'll attend together to blatantly disregarding their emotions and bluntly proclaiming that you're just not friends any longer?

I really sympathize w/ these lyrics...they're so real to me right now...
THE HONORARY TITLE

Accentuated by the mobile dungeon of fluorescence
As I fall out of love, this wasn’t supposed to happen
Not according to you

Please don’t allow your voice to fade
Don’t fall so weak to fault the blame
To give yourself reason for an end

We’d have our own subway car in the middle of the night
I’d work the same job, play the same bars on every weekend
As the graffiti scrolls by

Please don’t allow your voice to fade
Don’t fall so weak to fault the blame
To give yourself reason for an end

At the end of your low you pin my shoulders against the mattress
Arching your frame with stomach pushed outward
Your head tilting back with your mouth slightly open
The sounds slur and elevate slowly in volume
When you wake with your family gathered around
Remember that our love was true
And I will not allow you to destroy yourself

I hope that I’m not revealing too much

I must admit that I had somewhat of a slw and physically solitary weekend. I spent the last couple of days visiting my father, which was pleasant with the exception of the six hour power outage that was suffered Saturday night.  I seriously felt like I was in a B horr film at one point:  I was a teenager sitting in a car immeaiately following a thunderstorm that resulted in a loss of electricity at 4 in the morning talking on the phones...and I kept hearing dogs howl and other pecuiliar things.

Here are a few more films that I feel people should be aware of their creators....

The United States of Leland: Directed and written by Matthew Ryan Hoge; It was produced by Kevin Spacey.

Good Will Hunting: Actually written by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck. It was directed by Gus Van Sant and produced by Lawrence Bender.

The Big Lebowski: Co-written directed and produced by Joel and Ethan Coen

Meet Joe Black: Is a remake of the 1934 Maxwell Anderson film Death Takes A Holiday...Directed by Martin Brest

Casablanca: AFI's all time number one film was directed by Micheal Curtiz, produced by Hal B. Wallis and written by Howard Koch and Phillip and Julius Epstein

My beef for the day: Am I the only one who feels the NCAA ban on Native American names is an absurd waste of efforn on an arbitrary subject. First of all, Native Americans catch more breaks from the U.S. government than does practically any people anywhere...Take into consideration native Americans recieve more benifits from the government for European settlers taking land they were constantly at war w/ each other away from them than do African Americans do for slavery or the Jewish people recieve for the Halocaust, and now the American people are supposed to keep their tribal names our of our mouth??  Next, IT IS NOT INSULTING!! The NCAA was forced to revoke the ban on the Florida State Seminoles because the real Seminole ribes in Oklahoma and Florida objected to the ban.  The majority of Native American mascots are honorable...for example: the Braves. Others are simply names of tribes. Would anyone truly be remotely offended if there were a team named the Caucasions? Yes, the same people who are offended now...not neccecarily Native Americans or white people but people so concerned with political correctness they disreguard logic as well as the fact it is offending less Native Americans than it is honoring. And before anyone tries to refute me keep in mind I come from much Cherokee heritage myself.

I am a very very fortunate man right now I really and truly am

I <3 MEW

Wow I apologize for my absence (and my spelling i am in a hurry) I have not had the time nor the means as of late to preoccupy myself w/ xanga i am sorry, but i am back for a couple days :)

These are ?'s I fully intend for you to answer so please do so

I recently had a wonderful conversation with a fascinating girl and while i disagree with her often she brought up something the other day that made me re-think a few things....Should the mentally handicapped be steralized?.....This is a very grey area for me because logically they most definitely should but morally they should be entitled to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness as much as any other human

Not too long ago I urged you to comment on my dream band but that was completely subjective now I would like to place the dream band to a vote...Every instrument and responsiblity in the band will be voted on as a seperate entity...the initial vote will be on the drummer:
A. Longineu W. Parsons III
B. David Grohl
C. Aaron Gillespie
D. Fred Leblanc

How many of you enjoy listening to Bright Eyes? I only ask this because my friend thinks bright eyes is somewhat underground and i contend that they/he is fairly popular...

Last question is somewhat gilded and much more serious.....How far would your loyalty to your best friend stretch? If you were faced w/ your worst fears or gruesome acts of torture (rats, spiders, having fingernails plucked, intense beatings) would you substitute them in your place if you could?  If you were going to be burned or buried alive, or they were one, and it was your choice to make what would it be....Don't lie to yourself seriously consider this...

One of my best features, and one of the few traits I'm proud of, is my loyalty...I can honestly say as long as I could hold mental stability I would never betray my best friend....which has been previously noted is kristin....which i would like to take this oppurtunity to thank for her understanding...She often disapproves of my actions but always forgives and I love her for it

Ron Burgundy: I wanna say something. I'm gonna put it out there; if you like it, you can take it, if you don't, send it right back. I want to be on you.
[Veronica turns and walks away]
Ron Burgundy: Wait. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. I... I wanna be on you.
Anchorman oh yes...

Liar (It Takes One To Know One)"

All our secrets they are tailored trouble
Drip loose not around your hips
Your spotless instincts are valid
We coexist
Got 26 days to work with (got 26 days)
We got 26 days to work with (it moves, it moves, it moves)
We'll see what all gets done

I'm an addict for dramatics
I confuse the two for love
You can tell me that you don't beg

Liar (liar)
If we're keeping score
We're all choir boys at best
(intrusive and arrogant)
Liar (liar)
If we're keeping score
We're all choir boys at best
(intrusive and arrogant)

Got 26 days to work with (got 26 days)
Then back on that island
That you swear by
Still barely can't afford
It's still a question of
How long will this hold?
Well is it any different
Now that we are home
Don't you go there not here, not now
(it moves, it moves, it moves)
Not here, not now

I'm an addict for dramatics
I confuse the two for love
You can tell me don't beg

Liar (liar)
If we're keeping score
We're all choir boys at best

If we're keeping score
